WHAT'S COVERED

Our work. Assembly, cabling, cooling set-up and the configuration we deliver, for 3 years from delivery.

New parts. Covered by their manufacturer's warranty, usually two to three years and sometimes longer. While our labour warranty runs, we deal with the manufacturer for you and refit the replacement free.

WHAT ISN'T

Parts you supplied, and pre-owned parts. Both are marked on your invoice. We'll still diagnose them if you want, at £45 an hour, agreed before we start.

​

Accidents. Drops, liquid, damage in transit you arranged yourself, or misuse.

​

Someone else's work. Opening the case or adding parts doesn't void anything. We only exclude damage caused by work someone else did, or by settings pushed beyond our saved profile.

​

Software after handover. Viruses, or drivers and programs installed later. We'll always help where we can.

HOW TO CLAIM

1. Get in touch. contact@rigforgeco.com or 07387 826471: what's happening and when it started.

​

2. We try remotely first. A lot can be sorted over a call or a remote session.

​

3. If it needs the bench, we collect it across the North East and central Scotland, or send you a prepaid courier label. For genuine faults we pay the postage both ways.

​

4. We tell you the turnaround before we start, and keep you posted.

​

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Within 30 days of delivery, if it's faulty you can reject it for a full refund.

​

Within six months, we'll repair or replace it, and if that doesn't fix it you can have a refund. A fault in this period is taken to have been there from the start, unless we can show otherwise.

​

After six months you still have rights, but you may need to show the fault was there on delivery. Claims can be made up to six years after delivery in England and Wales, and five in Scotland.

​

Nothing in this warranty reduces those rights. Business customers get the same labour warranty under our terms and conditions.
